St Augustines Summer Concerts in the Plaza Resume

Planning to spend a couple of weekdays in the oldest city? This is one of the best times as the streets are quieter, weather warmer, and rates lower at your favorite St. Augustine Bed and Breakfast. Events like FREE Concerts in the Plaza however continue for your entertainment just as if you were staying through a holiday weekend!  

Concerts in the Plaza, St. Augustine’s summer-long music series, returns for its 24th season with great music in a great place right in the heart of historic St. Augustine in the Plaza de Constitución every Thursday at 7 p.m. between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

All concerts are free and attendees should bring lounge chairs for seating. Feel free to carry dinner along but alcohol is prohibited.

The popular concert series is known for showcasing the best in regional musical talent including bluegrass and blues, jazz and country, swing and folk, old time and popular rock. The event has been known as “the best way to spend a Thursday evening in St. Augustine”!

The Plaza is located in the heart of St. Augustine between Cathedral Place and King Street, just to the west of the Bridge of Lions. Each week performers entertain from The Gazebo, a fixture in the center of the Plaza for nearly a century. The Plaza is literally steps away from the Agustin Inn’s front door.
