St Augustine Nights of Lights 2015

St Augustine Nights of Lights celebration was recently voted one of the “Top Ten” places in the world to see holiday lights by National Geographic. In addition, the city was dubbed one of the world’s most twinkliest towns by Rachel Ray magazine and is becoming well-known for the event by many blogging travelers!

We invite you to come and experience what thousands of visitors come from all over the world to see.

The season has officially arrived! This past Saturday the city was lit by our mayor along with an official ceremony in our downtown plaza! Thousands swarmed the area for this annual tradition!

The historic area is now heavily decorated for the holidays and a-glow with millions of lights in the plaza and on nearly all the buildings from the bayfront to the residential streets!

As you step outside the inn’s front door, be prepared to experience the city and all its beauty like never before!

During the week leading up to Christmas and the arrival of a new year, we still have nightly availability if you are thinking of getting away and as always we look forward to welcoming guests during this special time of year!

There are many special ways to enjoy the city’s Nights of Lights and one of the most popular is by taking the Holly Jolly Holiday Trolley! Departing nightly from the city’s Visitor Information Center. This 30 minute fun tour is one you won’t soon forget!

Between the hours of 6 and 9 p.m. every night until New Year’s Eve, take this fun tour around the city to view the millions of lights through a special pair of 3-D glasses and top off your evening with a complimentary cup of hot apple cider and homemade cookies. Tickets are only 12.00 and can be purchased from any Old Town Trolley Booth along St. George Street en-route to the tour.
