St Augustine is known for events, historic sights and great food! Many if not close to all our events include just that – great food! Lets see, there’s the Seafood Fest, The Rythym and Ribs Fest, the Celtic Fest just to name a few and now we bring you The Great American Burgerfest of 2016!
The Great American Burger Fest will take place over the weekend of May 20 – 22, 2016, at Francis Field in downtown St. Augustine. If you are staying at the Agustin, it is just a short walk over to all the fun!
A celebration of the all-American burger, the festivities will include live music, best burger contests, arts and crafts, a kids zone, more than 75 exhibitors and food vendors from all over the southeast, and, of course, burgers and more burgers!
Live entertainment will include the Corbitt Clampitt Experience on stage from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, May 20, and No Saints on Saturday, May 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Sunday’s schedule will include Kevin Ski from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and The Karen Perry Band from 2 to 4:30 p.m.
Proceeds from the event will go the Great American Foundation, a non-profit organization in support of military and citizens in need.
This event promises to be a great addition to St. Augustine’s roster of spring festivals. For more information, visit the Great American Burgerfest website here.
Admission: $5 for adults, while kids 12 and under are free.
