St Augustine Hosts Florida Heritage Book Festival

81913_886x480Starting September 24, 2015 through September 26, 2015, Florida’s rich and colorful literary heritage is celebrated annually in St. Augustine at a series of workshops, presentations and readings. During the Annual Book Fest, attendees experience the chance to meet award-winning authors, fellow book lovers and publishing professionals.

On Thursday, September 24th,  two award-wining authors will critique submitted manuscripts; on Friday, nine outstanding writers will share tips and stories prior to the evening Writers Reception with guest speaker Bob Shacochis.

On Saturday, the festival features free presentations by 20 featured authors, more than 50 vendors of books and book-related merchandise, book signings and free hourly drawings.

All Festival events take place at Flagler College’s Ringhaver Student Union.  50 Sevilla St., St. Augustine.
