Ghost stories: O.C. White’s Seafood & Spirits, 118 Avenida Menendez, will offer free ghost stories at 9:30 p.m. every Friday and Saturday night in October in the garden courtyard.

Halloween Magic at Colonial Quarter: A Halloween-themed magic show will begin at 8 p.m. in the Colonial Quarter, 33 St. George St. Mayhem de Magnifico and crew will add some not-too-scary tricks to this kid-friendly show. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 5 to 15 (free for ages 4 and younger). Go to www.colonialquarter.com.

A Victorian Halloween: Enjoy a Victorian Halloween at the Villa Zorayda Museum, 83 King St. Built in 1883, visitors will see enhanced period decorations from the late 1800’s to the early 1900’s along with the more traditional Halloween decorations. See the ghost of Franklin Smith, architect and builder of the house, as he writes a letter to his beloved wife, Laura. Regular hours and admission prices apply. Tolomato Cemetery tours: The Tolomato Cemetery, 16 Cordova St., is the oldest planned cemetery in the State of Florida, with burials starting during the First Spanish Period (1565-1763). The cemetery will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visitor access is limited to the third Saturday of each month when docents provide guided tours; self-guided tours are available as well. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged. Go to www.tolomatocemetery.com.

Halla Galla - A Neo Victorian Reverie: The Junior Service League (JSL) of St. Augustine will host its annual black tie event, Halla Galla: Tomorrow as it used to be, a Neo-Victorian Reverie, at the historic Lightner Museum in downtown St. Augustine. Festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. with cocktails on the third floor of the Lightner Museum. Following the cocktail hour, guests will enjoy dinner, dancing, live entertainment and performances. Tickets are $135 per person and include a gourmet dinner and dessert buffets, open bar, silent and live auctions, charitable gambling and live music.
